Mini Book Review

I am obviously excited about my newly renovated blog! I mean 2 posts in 1 day?!

The Hiding Place
Corrie Ten Boom

I just finished reading this book last week. I read it in elementary school and loved it but had forgotten a lot of it so I re-visited. Wow! I am really glad that I did because it was such a reminder of how steadfast God is in an ever-changing world! There is a lot of political tension both nationally and internationally and it is scary. There is also a lot of criticism of the Christian culture/society but this book really reminded me that "there is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper still".

New Beginnings in an Old Year

So, I have re-vamped my blog. Hopefully people like it (let me know what you think)! It is the last day of November and I have no job and no degree. A lot of new changes have occurred recently and at the end of this old year. Of course I am nervous but I am excited. I hope I can maintain this blog better than I did previously. I will be using this as a place to do practice writing and of course share my thoughts. So, if you see any grammar or spelling issues let me know. That is a BIG pet peeve of mine. Let me know if you think my blog is interesting or boring but before you do give me some time to get it going.
To begin, I will share some favorite quotes (nothing deep, just shallowly enjoyable):

"By working eight hours a day, you may get to be a boss and work twelve hours a day."
- Robert Frost
And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.
-Sylvia Plath
